My Week

Lord!, it has been a long one! Everybody is good, still have a bit of a cough but were all getting over it. Finally. I have been running all week but don't seem to have accomplished all that much except for practically going broke. It's Senior year for one of my boys & I ain't kidding you...that sh*t ain't cheap! For Senior yearbook pics, the smallest pkg. they offer is $150! My jaw literally hit the floor & this is just the beginning of the year! We still have to buy cap & gown, cap & gown pics, graduation invitations & lord only knows what else but good greif! This is in addition to the school supplies & clothes that I had to buy for both boys & contacts for one. I mean, can I get some slack on the bankruptcy proceedings that I'm sure I'm gonna get hit with if the money flying out the door don't slow down?!?! On a different note, to say I am ready for Fall would be the understatement of the year & for most, Sept. 1st marks the beginning of Fall but here in good ole Sunny Florida, we don't see, hear, smell or taste anything Fall until Oct. 1st. Maybe. lol I'm just sooo over this heat & humidity, it just drains the life outta me & I feel like a slug. Anyway,  Fall fairs & festivals are gonna start soon, I can't wait for candy apples & ferris wheels to whirl around the smell of caramel & popcorn. & who doesn't love funnel cakes??? I'm just praying it's gonna be cool enough to enjoy it all. Craft season is upon us & this time of year after I do some fall cleaning & purging, I try to get geared up for the holidays, my favorite time of the year. I haven't entered as many sweepstakes & stuff this week as much as I would have liked to but I have entered a good bit of book giveaways. Got a few in the mail but I haven't had time to really look at them. Oh, how could I have forgotten that fall also brings back all my fall shows like "The Walking Dead" "American Horror Story" "Fear The Walking Daead" "The Last Ship" "Hell's Kitchen" & others as well as a few new ones that I may check out.
