I must confess, I am a stickler for staying with things that I know work & work well. I've always been kinda lazy when it comes to pre-rinsing & soaking my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher too. I've been using ****** & it's worked well for me, no complaints here but the other day at the store, I saw the new Cascade & grabbed a bag, couldn't resist. Came home to a sink of dishes from the morning's breakfast & I had a copper bottom silver pot that had stuck on grits that were truly stuck I thought I might have to get a jackhammer to get that nasty stuck on stuff off and a glass baking dish that had a breakfast casserole in it that I thought I may have to throw out because I didn't think that stuff would come off but I was tired and just piled them all in the dishwasher, put in one of the Cascade gel packs with nothing else closed it and turned it on. Later on that day, I was getting ready to start dinner & needed my glass baking dish & remembered it was in the dishwasher from earlier. I sighed, opened the dishwasher, slid out the bottom rack & squeeled with delight! Could that be my dish? my glass baking dish? the one I thought would never truly be completely clean? YES! it was. and I could not have been happier. My glasses were all shiny, my silverware sparkled I called hubby & the boys in to show them how sparkly, squeaky clean everything was & my copper bottom silver pot? yes! it was shiny & like new! I almost couldn't believe my eyes but it was true & I will never pre-rinse, soak or need a jackhammer for my dishes! I will stick with what I know works. Cascade Platinum! I will be posting pics later of the before & after for yall to see.
