Just A Bad Car Day.....

It All Started Yesterday When My Husband Called Me From The Bank And Said He Couldn't Get The Car To Start. So Off I Went To Get Him. A 35 Mile Drive To Where He Was At And I Just Left My House When My Van Started Acting Funny. The Engine Light Came On But I Kept Driving And All The While, So Nervous I Was Almost In Tears That I Was Gonna Break Down. Well, I Made It There, Picked Him Up And Came Home. This Morning We Left To Go See If We Could Poke Around And Find Out What Might Be Wrong When He Took The Battery Out, Took It To Autozone And Had It Checked. All Was Fine With The Battery. Hubby Put The Battery Back In The Car And We Were Just About To Call And Have It Towed To The Repair Shop And He Decided To Just Give It A Try One More Time And It STARTED! Boy Were We Relieved! We Both Made It Home And Were Still Baffled As To Why The Car Wouldn't Start But Seems Fine Now. Needless To Say That When I Got Home I Had Me A Few Drinks! lol Sometimes I Wish We Were Back In The Horse And Buggy Days, But With My Luck The Horse Would Refuse To Move! Today Has Been Pretty Quiet And Uneventful But I Am Now Trying To Play Catchup With All The E-mails I Got Yesterday Afternoon And Last Night. lol

A Woman's Work Is NEVER Done!

Wow! So Much To Do With So Little Time In The Day. It's True What They Say About A Woman's Work Is Never Done! I Can Ask And Ask For The Kids To Pick Up After Themselves And After I Have Talked And Asked Until I Am Blue In The Face, The Tone In My Voice Starts To Deepen. I Finally Start Getting Something Accomplished By Them And My Dear Husband Throws His Clothes In A Heap At The Foot Of The Bed, Or Takes A Shower And Leaves The Wet Towel Just Lying On The Floor. He Absolutely Refuses To Pick Up After Himself And Heaven Forbid He Pick Up After Anyone Else Because I'd Be Better Off Teaching The Dog To Do It! I Love My Family, Don't Get Me Wrong But Even Giving The Kids Chores Worked To Begin With And Thier Dad And I At The End Of The Week, Would Either Give Them Thier Allowance And Buy Them A New Game Or Something, But That Only Worked For About A Week. I Would Think That Them Having Thier Friends Come Over And Seeing How Disgraceful Thier Room Is Would Be Enough To Get Them Motivated To Clean Up, But Nooooo. So I'm Gonna Have To Figure Out Something To Do. Until Then I'm Off To Find A Bulldozer And A Dumpster. lol

Oh What A Beautiful Day

I Am Sooooo Ready For Spring! I Can't Wait Til I Can Open My Windows And Let Some Fresh Air In. I'm Tired Of Being Cold! Not To Mention The Fact That I Love Playing In My Flower Garden And I'm Hoping To Start A Vegetable Garden This Year. So, Woo-hoo! Come On Spring!
