During the discussion, she asked, "Suppose I take the life insurance for my husband today and tomorrow he dies. What will I get?"
The agent eyed her suspiciously and replied, "Probably a life sentence."

I Am Sick & Tired........

Of Being Sick & Tired! I've Been Down The Last Few Days With The Flu Again. I Feel Better Today But I Pray To God That This Will Be The Last Time I'm Sick. Kids Have Been Sick Too & When You Feel Bad, Taking Care & Cleaning Up After Them Just Drains Me Of Everything. On A Brighter Note, I Hope Everyone Had A Very Happy Easter. We Didn't Do Too Much, Just Hid Eggs & Had A Ham But Being Sick, All We Could Do Was Kinda Pick At It, But The Day Was Peaceful & We Were Just Happy To Be Together To Enjoy It. We Got A New Puppy & Haven't Figured Out A Name For Her Yet But I'll Post Some Pictures Of Her Later. She Is Soooo Cute! Just A Little Black Furball With Ears...lol O.k., I'm Off To Check Some E-mails & Try To Update My Myspace Page. Not Sure What To Do With It But Maybe A New Picture Will Help. Have A Happy Day All!

Is It Friday Yet???

This Week Is Just Going By Sooooo Slow! Guess I Should Have Slowed Down On The Spring Cleaning Huh? lol Cuz Now, All Is Done And I Am Bored To Tears! But I Am Happy To Report That I've Got Little Seedlings Sprouting And Flowers A Growin'. I Love Spring! And I Can't Wait Til' The Kids Get Outta School For Spring Break April 1st. We'll Be Hittin' The Beach Playing In The Surf & Sand. I Wanna Go Canoing Sometime Before It Gets Too Hot. I'll Have To Go Through And Find Some Pictures Of Last Years Canoing Adventure And Post Em'! It Was Soooooo Much Fun! I'm Gonna Try & Talk My Sister Into Going This Year. She Had A Rough Experience Once, But Hopefully She'll Go With Us This Year And She'll Have Fun. Well, I Am Off To Do Some Laundry.....That Job NEVER Ends! lol Hope You All Have A Terrific Tuesday! I Sure Can't Wait Til Friday Gets Here! lol

Okay! I've Had Enough!!!

Rachel Is Cleaning House! I Have Spent The Last Few Days Trying To Focus On The Outside As Much As Possible While The Weather Was Nice, Today Has Been Kinda Crappy. Today, I Focused On The Inside, One Room At A Time, Starting With The Kitchen. It's True! You Don't Realize How Much Crap You Have Until You Really Either Start Diggin Into Things Head On Or Move. Well, I Would Rather Move! lol But Glad I Don't Have To. I Have Thrown Out, Donated, Washed, Waxed, Dusted And Scrubbed And I'm Sooooo Ready To Tackle The Livingroom, But I'll Leave That For Now Because It's The Only Thing That I Have Kept Up & Clean, Only Because The Guests See That First! lol This Weekend, I'll Have The Kids Tackle Thier Rooms And I'll Start On My Dungeon. lol The Outside Looks Really Nice And Hopefully Sometime Next Week I Can Start On Planting Some Flowers And Getting My Vegetable Garden Going. Boy! I Hope The Warm Weather Stays, I'm Through With Winter! Well, I'm Off To Check Some E-mails And Get Caught Up On Them. I've Only Got 500 To Go Through. lol Have An Awesome Friday All!

Edwin R. Powers ~AKA~ "Honky"

Edwin R. Powers, age 56, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008. He was born on Aug. 11, 1951, in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., son of the late Lillian and Jesse Powers. He is survived by two sisters, Sheila Salmon and Debbie Carroll; five brothers, Terry Powers, Ronnie Powers, Earnie Powers, Cecil Sim-mons and Ray Simmons; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends. He was a fun loving, gentle giant that enjoyed outdoor sports and playing pool. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. He will be cremated, with burial at sea at a later date. Your love for family and friends was sincere. We love you.

A Sunday To Cherish

Today Has Been Very Peaceful And Quiet. Not Very Often Does It Get Like That In My House But We Just Found Out That A Very Dear Friend Of Mine & My Husbands Died Recently. We Haven't Seen Him In A While But He Was A Very, Very Dear Friend And He Will Be Missed Greatly. My Mother's Death Was Just Over A Year Ago And While I Will Always Keep Her In My Thoughts And In My Heart, I Have To Realize That We Are Not Just Losing Loved Ones But Gaining Angels. I Treasure Everyday That I Am Able To Kiss My Kids On The Forehead, Tell Them How Much I Love Them And Then To Have A Good Day. To Tuck My Kids Into Bed Every Night, Tell Them How Much I Love Them And To Sleep Tight And To Not Let The Bed Bugs Bite Is Something I Will Cherish For The Rest Of My Life And Then Some. Cherish Every Moment That You Can With Your Loved Ones, It's Something That Cannot Be Regretted...Ever!

Today's Agenda

Absolutely Nothing! lol We All Went Shopping For New Shoes And A New Bar-B-Que Grill This Morning And I Won't Be Doing Hardly Anything For The Rest Of The Day Except For The Normal Walk Around And Pick Up Here And There Routine. Were Gonna Grill Some Steaks, Corn On The Cob And Baked Potatoes With A Salad Later On And Maybe Watch A Movie But Other Than That Were All Just Chillin'. The Kids Are Even Chillin'! I Mean, No Running Around Screaming, Fighting Or Begging To Go Here Or There???? I Had To Check To Make Sure They Weren't All Sick! lol Overall It's Been A Really Good Day And Hopefully That Will Be The Case For Tonight. I Doubt It, But I Have To Have Some Kind Of Hope Don't I? LOL Have A Super Saturday All!

Lazy Dayz & Beautiful Sunsets

Haven't Done Much Of Anything Today, I Think The Weather Has A Lot To Do With It. I Was Hoping To Start Some Spring Cleaning But When All It Wants To Do Is Rain All Day...It Just Makes Me Lazy! lol The Only Good Thing To Come Out Of This Day Was After It Stopped Raining, I Walked Outside And Just Stood There On My Porch For A Minute Looking At The Sunset. It Was Beautiful!!! I Forgot Was I Even Went Outside For Other Than To Get A Bit Of Fresh Air And To Get Away From The Kids For A Minute, But I Grabbed My Camera And Got A Few Shots. Pretty Ain't It? Now Ya Know Why I Love Florida......Even On Rainy, Lazy Days.

Where Was I Monday?

Well, This Picture Should Say It All! I Was Soooo Tired When Hubby Came Home From Work Yesterday That I Went And Took A Nice Long Hot Bath And Went To Bed! I Didn't Even Watch My Shows On t.v. (of course i recorded them to watch later) But I Was A Zombie Yesterday. Hopefully Today, I'll Get Something Accomplished...lol

Growing Up

Yesterday Was My Son's 4th Birthday. Can Ya Tell He Had Cake And Ice Cream? He Was Soooo Excited Yesterday Running Around The House Saying "Yea! It's My Birthday. Yea! " "Yea, It's My Birthday!" We Didn't Have Anything Big, Just Presents, Cake And Ice Cream Cause He's Just Not Into Big Parties Or Anything. But Gosh, They Grow Up Soooo Fast! He'll Be Going To Pre-k Next Year And I'm Gonna Cry Like A Baby! It'll Be Hard Letting Him Go But Every Mom Does It And I'll Just Have To Keep Busy So I Don't Worry About Him So Much. Makes Me Wanna Cry Just Thinking About It, But He's Just Growing Up. Happy Birthday Little Man, I Love Ya!
